Mahabir Group is a diversified industrial establishment since the seventies. The group manufactures different kinds of deep well hand pumps, PSCC electricity poles, inter locking cement concrete tiles and paraffin wax.

The Hand Pump manufacturing units have been approved by UNICEF. The group has also been granted licenses from Bureau of Indian Standards (ISI). The Group boasts of being the exclusive treadle pump manufacturer for IDE.

The group has recently set up a state of art fabrication and galvanizing unit for manufacturing all kinds of towers and heavy structures. The group had  also been manufacturing Calcined Petroleum Coke till early 2006, the shares of which have now been trasferred in a family partition arrangement.

The group also holds stake in a jute manufacturing faciltiy at Sajanwa, which is a six generation family run company.

The Chief Minister of Bihar, Mr Nitish Kumar has awarded the group for contributing to the industrial development of the State.

We are now looking at expanding operations overseas and forming Joint Ventures with companies involved in similar businesses  as ours.
